Military promotion points are awarded to 1.2 million Army recruits each year in an effort to boost morale among troops and recruit more new soldiers.
Soldiers and civilian personnel who complete the Army Reserve or Army National Guard will earn an additional parachute promotion point.
The Army will also award parachute training and parachute parachute jumps awards to members of the Reserve component who complete all training requirements at the Army National Training Center.
In 2018, the Army will begin to award a new special forces parachute jump training course to eligible reservists who are already in the Reserve.
It will be the first time the Army has awarded a special operations jump training program to enlisted members of a reserve component.
Army Reserve Jump Training for Active Duty Members (DOD-AP-12) will take place April 1-21 in Ft.
DOD officials have said the Army may also award parachuting training to some soldiers in the reserve component who meet all parachute training requirements and who also complete the requirements of the Army Jumpmaster Course.
According to the Army, parachute training for members of reserves is one of the highest-paying jobs in the U.S. and can bring in as much as $25,000 per month in income.
